Yeah it's insanely ghetto to do that, and not to mention dangerous. Mike spent like an hour accusing everyone in the Gym of it. Then when he found out who it was he was all spooled up to go upside their head for it.

Yeah, it was one of those rare moments where class won out over pure talent. By class I mean Morales used most of the dirty veteran tricks in the book if you watched close. He'd shoulder-bump Pac then throw his right-hand close. He'd low-blow uppercut then follow with an uppercut high when Pac bent down. Every time Pac landed a combination he was sure would hurt Erik, Terrible jumped his shit the moment Pac backed off. He took the most feared guy around that division and just made him look relatively Amateurish.

I also noticed that Erik's cross to the body was a thing of beauty. I always said after the Marquez bout that Pac don't like it downstairs one bit. When he's hurt to the body he turns into a volume slapper who just throws flurries to keep you back. That's why Erik walked through everything.

not going to lie...i didn't see what your referring to until i watched the replay the following week. hard for me too see.

but i did notice erik's reaction after getting hit. he established that about what...a min or two into the fight.

do you think manny was affected by the cut?

No, think he was more affected by the body punching than the cut. Seriously, if you have a copy of the fight re-watch it and look for Erik's cross to the body. I didn't notice until THIS time watching it how much and how hard it landed, along with some very good left hooks to the body as well. Erik's floored at least one guy with that cross to the gut, too. That Manny took it as well as he did was quite a feat.
