Yeah, I just started. My problem was my last job. I was working 60 hours a week and ate like an idiot. I kept making excuses for being lazy. After teh wife finished law school 4 months went by without me having a gym membership. Excuses. I'd like to get to 240 by the end of the year and then to 225 by the end of this first school year. Time will tell.

Did you decide to practice law? I really have no idea of what I want to do. Law school just puts off any career choices until I'm 30. That's a plus.

Yeah, I'm in RE Law...so times are interesting to say the least.

I spent the better part of my first year trying to figure out where I wanted to be. I would say that a good large portion of the people in my graduating class decided to not pursue it as a career and/or didn't take the bar.


EDIT:
Trying to drop weight, maintain strength and 1st year law school might be rough.

I WAS decent. I was never good, but I made a nice sparring partner for some good HW's in my old gym. I was low 220's then and stronger than I am know.

I wouldn't weigh 265 if I still trained. I used to spar some with Mike Whitehead. He had a thing for punching me in the liver.

I forgot to mention that I'm going to start playing soccer some on the weekends. I played left forward in high school, but that was 100lbs and 10 years ago.

I played soccer and baseball in high school. I was 5'9"ish 165lbs when I graduated.
