Me Against Myself

Welcome to my log. The only gear I use is wrist wraps(broken both wrists), and a belt for DL and squat. My goals are to get as strong as I can. I was in the Army for 4 yrs and did a lot of bodyweight exercises, and when I got out I used to do bodybuilding type workouts until I discoverd this forum. Thanks for all the info guys. Well here it is.....


STATS:
age 27
height 5'8"
weight ~160
Pisces

GOALS
Squat 315
Bench 225
DL 405

Current PR's
Squat 245
Bench 210
DL 340


ROUTINE
WORKOUT 1
Squat 5x5
front squat 3x8
SLDL 3x8
sometimes I'll do another exercise of some sort if I feel the need

WORKOUT 2
Bench 5X5
OHP 5x5
dips 5x5
shrugs 3x8
usually do 1 or 2 other assistance lifts, they usually vary

WORKOUT 3
pull ups 5x5
DL 5x5
BOR 5x5

might do hammer curls or BB curls depending on time and how I feel

Great log. Good luck with your goals.

Try Glucosamine/Chondroitin and Hyaluronic Acid for the wrists(joints in general). I bought mine recently at www.vitamins.com they got buy 2 get 3 free deal. Should help with stiffness and other wrist problems....

I also signed up for this competition at my gyn to win a free year membership. I did it cause it'll save me $300. supposed to do workout 3 today but i'm sore so i'm going to take today off and do WO 3 tomorrow. usually lift Tuesday, wednesday, friday, and sometimes saturday if i'm feeling friskie.

Any particular reasoning behind doing pulls/chins before DL?

thanks, no particular reason, just always did pullups in the army and thought it would help warm me up...do you think I should change it around a bit???
