1.5 hours of breaking up limestone creek bed and loading stones into truck. 12lbs sledge and pick axe. Stones up to 200lbs. I was helping a friend who's planning on building a stone wall around his garden.

30' rope climb on 1.5" manila rope x 2.

I love the oldschool conditioning. There is something immesely satisfying about splitting word or breaking rock.
What were you using to spit the wood?
I've used everything from the head of a hatchet + 12lb. sledge hammer to a 16lb. maul. The classic 8lb. axe is a solid favorite though.

The wood was VERY green so I used a standard axe and a wedge for the stubborn pieces. If I knew that I was going to be splitting wood prior to heading to the cabin I would have packed the maul.

I'm glad to see there are still people who use the right tools and know their names, the number of people who don't know the difference between a mual and a axe is sad

Some rope skipping to limber up x 1

Bas's All Around Workout x 1 (round 1 = 29 minutes)

I'm out of shape.
