Working Sets – DE squat to box (approx. 15 inches):

185 + #4 bands x2

The 185 + bands was a little to light. I either need to choke the bands a bit tighter or move the weight up a bit.

DB snatch:

30 pound db x 30 (15 each hand)
- rest 60 sec. –
30 pound db x 30 (15 each hand)


I had to quit early b/c I was heading out of town and was running short on time.

I think trying to train the back 3x a week is not working the way I wanted.

I felt like crap today. I have not got enough sleep over the last three days. I’ve got nothing.

Try negatives on singles, it should xfer nicely over to additional reps. I.E. 1/2/3/1 neg/1neg/1 neg. Also, do you try kipping? It may feel teh ghey at 1st but it'll help if you're doing ladders.

You can also use your weaker Band...#2? and use it to help you hit some higher rep sets ...or build some volume...

Thanks Devil and JK - My chins suck balls. I'm trying to get to BW x 8 in the next few months (The most I have done is 4).

Stoner: I'm on the updated list, but I'm one weight class to high. I need to get to the 198 class (and do a bit more conditioning work).
