I really need to start using some sort of finisher after strength sessions. It doesn't take much time and can give pretty good benefits. My favorites are farmer's walks and DB swings depending on what I did that day.

This was my second time on the RH. This weight was pretty easy.

Decline Sit Ups

They had a police powerlifting event at the gym – so I had to get my work in quickly.

I need to work on my press.

DB Incline Press:

75s x 10

This was a bit too easy. I'll up the weight next time.

CHINS:

Prone Trap Raises:

Treadmill: 10 min. @ 3.5 mph

Worst Day at the Gym Ever:

I feel like shit today. I think I'm getting sick. I went to the gym anyway and produced failure.

I started with deads and worked up to 405x1 - and it felt way too heavy.

I figured it was my usual "I suck at deads shit." NO.

I did some front squats up to 315. I did 225x5 and it felt like doing 315x5. I racked 315 and it felt like 500 pounds on my shoulders. Since nothing productive was going to happen I stopped.

I think I'm coming down with something and I also got as drunk as I have in 8 months on Saturday, which I doubt help recovery at all. Plus, I think I underestimated how easily I would recover from heavy squats and deads on Monday and squats on Friday. I suck at life.

Enough negativity, shit happens, one day means jack shit in the big picture of a mesocycle. So you are 7 weeks from RAW Nationals, one week deload, 6 weeks of training. Probably time to start peaking. What's the game plan?
