Stonebreaker and OP:

I'm at Wash. U. I am waiting to hear about the x-ray.

I am going to be working on my "anterior chain" quite a bit. I played golf in college and have probably logged thousands of rounds of golf. Golf has created some strength imbalances in my small muscles and it created muscle imbalances in my core. When you add golf + plus posture issues + sitting all day + a prior back injury + heavy lifting puts in a high risk group for shit like this. I read 15 (or so) articles on T-Nation about this yesterday. The funny thing is I have a desire to buy Surge.

Also, OP – all the knowledge of the training logs has nothing on Cuban_Reds new log.

Eh. Good luck with the back, and here's to hoping for a fracture-free X-Ray.

I hadn't seen the Cuban_Red log until you mentioned it. I checked it out. Wow. Words fail me. The 'ignore' feature will not.

Looks like your ready to get Cressley on the anterior chain.

I've really dug these the past few months. Reverse Cable Side Bends in congunction with Saxon Side bends is my recipe for sore sides. Garnish with a little lateral flexion or side bridge.

Stonebreaker - I couldn't put cubanReds log on ignore, its like watching a car accident. I can't help myself.

Thanks dude - Also, your log is pretty badass. We are about the same age and have similar time training for S&P. The only problem is that you are too damn tall. But, I guess that won't stop me from reading...

Yeah. I'm about to turn the corner on 1 year lifting and I'm pretty happy where I am. I never thought I could pull 405. In fact I was using an EZ-curl bar at my work gym to DL and Sqt for the first few months. Training at my work gym become downright laughable.

My top priority has become moving my stubborn sqt #s out. I think my leg strength is hindering my DL too has I lift mosty with my back.

My area of specialization is philosophy of law/political philosophy. I have a JD and practiced law for about 5 years before going back to school. I also have a good background in normative ethics, applied ethics (mostly bio-medical ethics) and ****-ethics. My dissertation is on disabilities (tentatively titled a normative theory of disability).

Very interesting. My wife just finshed here MPH at UW (not WU) in Human Genetics and her favorite coursework involved law and ethics. We'll be moving back to Phoenix and ASU has a good Genetics and the Law program she might consider, although more schooling just doesn't seem fun.

Congratulations on being the smartest person in S/P. lol. On the side note if you get JD isnt the objective to generally teach rather than to practice? just curious..

What do you shoot when you play golf?

Cuban's log sprained my brain. I gave up after his reply to me in his log. Zero started to post his workouts in his log but then realized the joke was on him so he stopped...lol

Thanks for stopping by my log Devil. As an S&P newbie, I find your log pretty helpful. In my log, all I do is try to verbally intimidate Standard and the Misses, which I hope will give me the advantage in our races.

I got the JD with the full intent on practicing, but after about 5 years I realized that I would rather teach law than actually practice it. I enjoy my life a lot more now.

As for golf, I am a 2 handicap now. I have not been playing much golf mostly because of my bad back. Plus, I would rather DL or squat than hit balls or practice my putting.
