Note:
I dropped the repetition sets on the squats. I am just going to bang away at the singles for awhile until I go stale and then I'll move into sets of 3 for awhile. Barbell Rows are about to move into the singles also. Just plugging along 1 rep at a time.

Note:
I dropped the rep sets on the pressing. I want to just focus on the singles with single and double progression with microloading. On the curls I'll just stick to the reps unless I just can't stand it. I am not sure how much the Blob weighs. I have BBs, sand, and water in it. I am going to try to add 6000 BBs every 2 weeks until it gets really hard to lift and then I'll start adding them very slowly. I have no grip feat that I am shooting for, I am just using the tool to get strong.

Much better workout energy wise. I felt like a total different person on the Cleans, but still sloppy as heck on the Jerks. I see that I definately shouldn't be coaching anyone as of right now on how to Jerk! My timing is way off and almost feels like I am trying to gently lock the weight out instead of getting forceful with it. This may be a bit of bad technique learned from doing the lift fatigued for so long. Hopefully once I get alot more volume and lifts in my Jerk form will get back to what it used to be. I'm glad to just be back to weights thats within 10lbs of what I got hurt on. So, I'll stick right here for a good while trying to finish my pulls better along with getting my Jerk form cleaned up tremendously.

Note:
I should note how I am doing my bench pressing as of right now. Several weeks ago I got to the point that I felt like everything in me was working except my pressing muscles during my bench training. It had me aggrivated pretty good so I made a big change. I kept using the close grip but I picked my feet up and crossed them and I set pins right at chest level so the bar makes contact with both the pins and my chest and I pause for a count before pressing. It totally deloads at the bottom, almost like doing bottom position bench presses without the shoulder strain from truly starting from the bottom. Military Presses felt great, it was like I was tossing the weight up. Axle Curls will be moving into singles the next workout.

Note:
The way 95lbs felt I thought to myself I'll be lucky to snatch 185lbs, but I dug in and ground the sets out. I definately didn't feel on fire like I did the last Snatch workout, but I added 1 single rep and that was all I needed. Going to go take a good hot shower and get in the bed early.

This training is absolutely starving me to death. Its like I can't get enough to eat. I wanted to hold my weight under 200lbs but its not looking good at all. Here is what I had today.
Breakfast- 1 cup of coffee w/half&half
Lunch- 8 oz hamburger with onions, 24oz Tub of Cottage Cheese(yes I ate an entire tub) 3 fresh pineappple slices
Dinner- 10oz chicken breast, 2 cups of green beans, 1 cup sweet taters, 2oz jack cheese with honey, 1 apple, 2 huge tablespoons of dessicated Liver powder.
Right now- 8oz chicken breast on ezekiel bread, 1 glass of milk, 1tbsp of fish oil and wheat germ oil, and I think I may have a bowl of frosted mini wheats too.
I guess a mans body knows it needs grub after these heavy workouts. I have one more rep to go and then I get to add weight and drop the reps back down. Definately looking forward to it.

Note:
I should add a few a comments because I have been asked about how many warmups I do and how much rest I take between each single. I don't log it but I do 15 minutes of Heavy Hands on the treadmill before I even go out to the barn. I have 5lb wrist weights and I do various kurls and shoulder movements to get the blood flowing. By the time I am done I have a great sweat going. I then do my stretching down at the barn when doing my warmup sets.
I don't time myself between singles. I just go when I am ready. I timed myself this evening starting at my first single with the working weight. You can see the results. I thought I honestly would take around 20 minute per lift but I was way off base. I could go much faster than this if I really wanted to. The weights that I am using aren't really that difficult at this stage and thats exactly what I want. I don't like working hard really. It will probably slow down big time over the next several months.
