Snatch- 95x5, 135x3, 160x3, 185x1, 200x1, 210x1, 220x1, 225x1,1,1,1,1

YouTube - Snatch- 225lbs

C&J- 185x3, 225x3, 250x1, 260x1, 265x1, 250x1,1,1,1,1

side bend- 70lbsx3x10

Wrist roller- 70lbs 3 rolls each direction

Note:
This is the best Snatch session I have ever had. They just felt super. Really wanted to get tothis level by the end of the year and hold it right there. I want to train with those 4 d**n bumper plates consistently now. I am just going to hold tight at this weight and try to climb it up to 10 singles. I still have some form issues though. I am shooting my hips way to fast. I am also starting my hips probably lower than I should but it seems like if I raise them I just don't feel nearly as strong and confident. It almost feels like I have no legs in the lift at all. I am definately going to have to get some sessions in with my coach and see if we can fix this, or improve it somehow.

On the C&Js the cleans felt good also, but my Jerks were all kinds of funky, all over the place. I stopped and reminded myself that it is the clean and Jerk, not just the clean, so I dropped the weight back down and got in some better jerks, not great but better. 225lbs would have been a better practice weight I think. Its was like I was standing in knee deep mud and trying to split in it. I am going to have to find that groove on the Jerks again. That should work better for me anyway, keeps me from getting ahead of myself trying to Clean more than I am ready for. So all in all a productive session that had lots of value for me.

Bottom Position Squat- 335x1,1,1,1,1,1 295x6,5,5

Deadlift- 405x1,1,1,1,1,1

Barbell Row- 235x3,3,3,3,3

wrist roller- 75lbs x3 each direction

Note:
Been sort of under the weather the last few days with a sinus infection. Didn't feel good at all going into the workout but I was strong as heck. I was driving the squats up hard and they felt really good. Deadlifts were really good and tight also. 1 rep at a time!

Nice lifting. I was going to make a Jenna Jamison joke but the deed was done.

Bench Press- 275x1,1,1,1,1,1 250x6,5,5

Military Press- 205x1,1,1,1,1,1,1 185x6,5,5

Axle Curl- 85x5,5,5,5,5

PDA Blobette Pinch- a bunch of holds

Note:
Nice and easy. One thing, I am slowly realizing that I absolutely hate bench pressing. Military Press was stout. I think I could have easily equalled my all time PR with 185 which is 8 reps. I'll get there in due time and for 3 sets at that!

Snatch- 135x5, 160x3, 185x1, 205x1, 215x1, 225x6x1, 235x1-10lbs PR!

YouTube - Snatch PR!!!-235lbs

C&J- 185x3, 225x3, 250x6x1

Super Gripper- a few sets

side bends- 70x2x15

Note:
When I hit the 6th single on the Snatch I knew in my heart it wasn't the time to let a PR slip through my fingers. I was getting fatigued but I knew that the lift was there for the taking. So I took it! I got a little off balance but I recovered and came up with it. I wanted that lift and I got it. I am only 5lbs away from my goal of 110kgs in the Snatch and it feels so good. Now for my problem child, the C&J. I just don't know what excuse to give. I am just a basket case with this lift and don't know what to do. I am just dumbfounded how 2 weeks ago, I just smoked the lift, pulling in weights that buried me and tonight was all over the place with the clean and the jerk. Maybe I am fatigued going into it and its causing me problems all the way around. Simply not sure.

God damn Meat Plow, that was sick. You have the illest setup for lifting too. And a sick view out that door.

Try alternating which you start with each week, c&j and snatch.
