Personal Log

Though I'll start a personal log to get a better insight of my progress. Started bjj about a year ago do to a shoulder injury from boxing.

gyms : Kings Gym , Ralph Gracie Academy

Sunday 7/16

morning
yogurt shake

pool - 20 lap - freestyle
10 lap - jump squats

egg white omelet with three eggs w/ brown rice

afternoon
brown rice with chicken
fruit

evening
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM
Went to a fancy restaurant and ate awesome unhealthy food, gonna have to make up for it tomorrow. Well, the family and friends had a wondeful time.

up-hill sprints x5
w/ 50 lb pack x5

yogurt shake

Monday 7/17

morning
yogurt

swim - 10 lap freestyke
5 lap jump squats

yogurt shake

afternoon
training (bjj)
warmup - took my sweet time

learned - double arm bar (practice transitions to triangle, etc.)
locked shoulder sweep (similar to sit-up sweep but better)

grappling - It sucked. I was physically exshausted and didnt have that "eye of the tiger". I think it was from the swim or maybe it's because it's Monday. Meh

brown rice with pork (couldn't eat chicken, got sick of it)
fruit

evening
heavybag 3x5mins
shadowboxing 1x5 mins

training - practiced footwork and countering. Need to practice my footwork. I tend to start crossing my footing when someone starts to press forward. Clinching was fun, enjoyed doing the hip toss but I often pause after I getting the grip and before I throw. I need to make the whole flow second nature.

sparred 3x5 mins

chicken with brown rice
fuit
yogurt shake
