Oh yeah and Jacob, Mike got on my ass about showing you things, he said:

"Man why you showin' everybody mah shit!?"

So, if you whoop a dude's ass on account of anything I've shown you, be sure and thank Mike since he showed me and I showed you, and I'll be sure to thank Eddie Futch, who showed Mike so he could show me so I could show you.

Or something.

Thursday January 3rd
6:30 am
1x 3min round warm up shadow kickboxing
10 sets of 20 reps Squats (vary feet postion, alternate 1 set deep then 1 set with thighs parrallel, alternate 1 set with calf raise at top of squat then one without, cadence is explosive/fast up almost jumping then controlled and slow down)
1x 5min walk with bar still on shoulders immediately after last set of squats.
200 situps (real situps) with feet suppoted under bar.
hold plank position to failure

6:00pm-7:15pm Capoeira class
warm up run alternating in ring jack style exercises, crab crawl, bear crawl, jumping jacks etc.
alot of foot work ginga into movements
combination of kicks into movement
perform all kicks working on technique
7:30pm-??? MMA training
it is hard to keep up with my teacher's trainig and even harder to remember exactly what we did. I'll do my best to recall everything here. first of all my legs were on fire from earlier today made for a tuff session.
6+??? 3-4min rounds of shadow boxing with hand weights (feels like boot camp, get yelled at a lot but still encouragement too to get stronger)
2x 3-4min rounds kicks only on heavy bag
3x 3-4min rounds shadow boxing with hand weights
2x 3-4min rounds kicks only heavy bag
3-4x 3-4min rounds heavy bag work with 16 ounce gloves
2x 3-4min rounds shadow boxing no gloves no weights
4x 3-4min rounds kick heavy bag
round min started at 4 min definitely but on some later ones(or even throughout) he may have switched to 3min rounds.

I think I blacked out several times with all this shit LOL. I am sure I left something out but who cares this shit was brutal.
don't even know how I did some paper work for the school and stuff afterwords, driving home I actually felt drunk.

Today My legs feel destroyed. I walk like they have cement blocks tied to my feet, and the stairs here at my work suck! I slept in this morning and actually had decent rest except waking up at around 2am almost getting a cramp in both calves. got up to drink down some minerals and fell back asleep easily. Strange I am happy to be sore, feels like I am doing the right things.

Friday January 4th
12:15pm
today I decided to do some cardio mainly to get some blood flow to these sore legs.
5 min warmup jog
15min stationary bike (didn't pay attention to speed readouts but my description is not slow not fast with moderate resistance like around 6level)
15min elliptical machine (same here but with more resistance at around level 10)
10min treadmill (kept speed between 3-5, level/angle was max, 15, the whole time)
5min cool down walk
will have more to log for the evening training and for saturday and sunday... but those will be updated on Monday.

scratch that-training canceled so played cards at friends house.
Saturday was an off day for training. Still managed to get some core exercises in.
Sunday went to a big Roda on the beach.
