Great vids, I wonder how those guys train? It looks like they just lift weights all day? What kind of volume/frequency of lifting do they do?

Also I love the little pop of the bar after the Front Squat, how do they do that?

High level (olympic caliber) lifters often lift twice a day apparently, for 5-6 days a week. Reps are usually at 1-3 for probably 5-10 sets of the classical lifts. Besides c&j and s they usually do front and back squats (usually for reps between 1 and 5) and maybe some pulls and rdls. I don't know if this is true, but according to the author, this article

http://www.criticalbench.com/bulgari...ghtlifting.htm

basically describes how the Bulgarian weightlifting team trained at one point.

Just come up fast and the bar will jump, in particular if it is still swinging from the impact imparted by the clean.

BTW, for someone whose interest had been piqued in Oly lifting, any suggestions on where to start?
