Boxing
Working with coach Brandon, in his slippery little boxing club. Nothing adds power to an overhand right like falling on your face cause the floor is covered in sweat. Once that optiong was out, we moved to a even smaller room, like 8 x 10 maybe.
Shadow box
3 min round just warming up, trying to get the feet in there and the speed up.
Focus mits
3 x 4 min rounds. Main focus of the rounds were hooks and cutting off the angles, the hooks were making a noticable improvment but my cut to the outside leaves me with a front heavy balance and a close stance. Uppercut was coming along nice, had some trouble with a 1, 2, 3, 4, combo though.
Sparring
5 x 3 min rounds, haven't really sparred in awhile so getting back into it. Trying to keep my punch volume up and add in some more combo's as well as counters. Found some success with a jab to the body followed with an overhand right.
