I know what you mean. I can't begin to count the number of times I've come in here and thought "Man, Standard is really just going through the motions here."

+1.

You get an A- in "guts" for even trying such a thing, but your "planning" grade tumbles to a D.

It may hurt you to hear i've been eating better and going to continue doing more conditioning work. Instead of a pizza i had spinich and girlled chicken, today for lunch mixed veggies and salmon.
While that my be great for your GF, waistline, health and blah, blah blah, you must think of Team Standard and the glory you will experience when you squat 405.

*takes serious*

*feels sad*

I'm cursed with always wanting to do more, i used to workout for like 1.5 - 2 hours all lifting, it was great. Lately i've been hammering all my lifting out in less than an hour. Adding 15-30mins of conditioning means i'm leaving the gym at 10:30 now. Just not enough hours in the day and i'm tired of cutting lifting short.

Yeah my planning kinda sucked on that one eh?

Enright when i get my diet on it helps alot and besides i'm not eating less... just better. the waistline will be strengthened although slimmer... i assure you 405 will be mine by the end of this competition

When are you hitting the gym?

My hand is about 98% right now. I just fought three days ago, and I knocked some rust off. I wouldn't mind doing some mitt work, guided shadowboxing/heavybag, and some tech. sparring with you if you're there anyways.

I'm thinking of buying a body belt.

I was actually going to text you about doing some boxing work. I feel i've been making some headway with working on the bag and shadow boxing more but obviously any progress i make is going to be very limited without guidance.

I take it you knocked some more fools out?

I should be hitting the gym at 8 - 8:30ish tonight but i am working out at the oshawa location, if you can make it there that would be great. May work with boxing if you are going and done in time.

Body belt? like a lifting belt?

haha fatty, i'm getting teh ripped

Yeah, I'm always down. I'll see if I can make it tonight, I'll text you with the answer around 7.

The ref stopped the fight because of all the blood in the third. Of course the ammys are really squeamish as is with blood, but I split this dudes guard about 4 times with a right uppercut when he would try to bum rush his way inside. I didn't wobble him or anything, but I guess I grazed his nose and started a pretty nasty outpour. I asked the judges after and I was only ahead 3 points so it was close

By body belt I mean one of these... Advanced Super Body Protector at Ringside.com

I weighed in at 173 pounds of jiggy sex appeal today

Not too sure how much glove work i'll be able to do, i almost sliced about half of the tip of my index finger off at work, got it stiched back together but i think a sweaty glove = infection for sure. I should be able to work the left though, conditioning or maybe zercher deads. I'd hate to take the night off, it's only a finger

Who would be wearing the body belt? me or you? cause i know you love trying to hit my liver.

173? damn, soon you'll be my weight
