Worked on foot work, sipping and starting combo's from the shell
5 x 3 min rounds, 1 min rest between rounds (14 oz bag gloves)
Round 1: Jab, doubling up and changing levels
Round 2: 1 2 combo, changing levels between punches
Round 3: 1 2 3 combo, hook was coming along well
Round 4: 2 3 combo, feeling good, getting the straight right out quick
Round 5: 1 2 3 2 combo, had a few issues not bringing the right back to the chin after the first cross

This is your first time back on the heavy bag in a while isn't it?

Yes it is, i've been living with the GF so i don't have my heavy bag available. I would hook it up in the basement but i think it'll bring down the house. Found out the gym had a heavybag tucked away so i felt like hitting shit... it felt good

Lies. I know for a fact that it was Standard who told you that you had managed to screw up doing chin ups and pointed you down the correct path.
Every chin up that you can do past three, both of them, in fact, you owe to Standard.

Hmph. Don't get too exuberant there, Sandy. I think I've forgotten to give you any shit for your shrug marathons, but that doesn't mean that I won't some time later.

Weight Training: Push Day 1
Weights all felt good, reps were controlled and the speed was high for all my sets. Trying to get at least some conditioning work into the mix every workout so the downtime was kept low and i opted for heavy bag work instead of some accessory lifts.
Bench
135 x 10
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
225 x 3
Incline DB
80 x 10
90 x 6
70 x 8 (minimal rest)
70 x 8
DB Flyz
55 x 8
55 x 8
Heavy Bag Work
Working more or less the same as last time, didn't have as much time though so i only did 4 rounds but kept a very high punch output. Really working moving in quick and then cutting out while keeping the speed up.
4 x 3 min rounds, 1 min rest between rounds (14 oz bag gloves)
Round 1: Jab, doubling up and changing levels
Round 2: 1 2 combo, changing levels between punches
Round 3: 1 2 3 combo, hook felt solid today
Round 4: 1 2 3 2 combo, flowing really nice today
