Believe me, ringworm isn't that bad. I've had it 4-5 times at least.

The worst was when I had one that - I shit you not - was the size of a golf ball, on the side of my head. I couldn't grow hair for a couple months after that. The only reason I noticed was because someone was like "hey Juan, your hair's falling out."

It's not cool that some people don't like to shower, and ruin it for everybody else. I would shower immediately after practice everyday.

Ive had it maybe 3 times. I had a gnarly one on my stomach that left a scar for a good couple years. Its pretty nasty.

I think a lot of the problm is that mats sometimes double as yoga mats or some other kind of aerobics class. People come in and walk all over the mats with shoes on and dont even think about cleaning the mats off. Then some poor fucking grappler ends up with ebola of the throat

Well, our school's wrestling room is right next to the locker rooms that the elementary kids use (small private school). We had little kids, maintenance men, and all sorts of nasty things all over it. We mopped it every day, with one of those green tabs and everything, but it still didn't prevent much.

I just got offered a position as an assistant wrestling coach at a local HS. If I take it, I'm sure I'll get ring worm again. I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking no. My shoulder is hosed, I'm too busy and it's a Catholic school. Being a failed Catholic myself...I can't get real excited about it.

I'm going to assistant coach my old high school if I ever live down there again. 2-3 hours of wrestling a day (before most jiu jitsu classes) would be a good thing for me at this point.
