Yeah i would be really annoyed if it was not for the tire.

Oh yeah he hayabusa gear came in, gloves and rashguard are pretty sweet. They are a bit tight though, gloves are tight on the fingers and the rashguard is a new level of form fitting

XF gear's Rashguard is extremely form fitting, I hate it. With everyone jump my fat jiggles, embarrassing. I'm sure it's worse for your fat body.

Bama you do my challenge and i'll think about doing yours, really 100 pullups? with my fat ass? no vest needed

On to other news, i scored 630lbs of 45lb plates off craigslist for $250. This means that i will be building famers walk bars, a chain yoke, and maybe outfitting sledward for new duty

OK, fine. How about this, I do your challenge, then you do my challenge within 2-4 weeks of me completing yours? The pullups ain't bad, what kind of number you hitting on pure BW pullups? I know alot is said of DL's, but I believe the most real world pull exercise is pullups and muscleups (which I practice on off days, still haven't got one). I suck at both. I'm gonna build up my conditioning for awhile though, my running isn't where it should be.

I'm building some parallets, picking up a tire within 2 weeks (about the size of yours I'm GUESSING, I still have no clue how much those things weight, cant figure it out), getting a keg soon, and stealing a stone from the dam down the road.

Wide grip pullups very few after the shoulder issue, maybe 4, CHINS i could probably hit sets of 10. That deal works for me, of yeah i have a link in my challenge about how to make a chinup bar you can bring to a park and use on football uprights

This is a really heavy tire, most guys in our class couldn't do it alone. Assuming the one at the comp was 500, this has to be about 700. The weight is hard because it depends on the number of plys in the tire, what it's used for etc. Stones are a good call, i would like a keg but it's $50 for a used one and i would much rather get a full one and drink it

Standard -

Due to a very square tread where it meets the sidewall, my tire was very hard for me to grip. That kept me from flipping it sometimes.

So, to keep it off the ground, I bought 20 ft of 1.5" rope. I drilled a hole in the tire, put the rope through, and put a clamp on the end. Then I wrapped the rope around it 3 times, equally spaced. I then drilled another hole, fed the other end into the tire and put a clamp on that end. So now, when it lays down it is always on 3 pieced of 1.5" rope. I used a 1 5/8" spade bit and had to dunk it in water very often to keep it cool from all the friction on the rubber. Pretty difficult to drill through, but was definitely worth the effort. Now I can always get my hands under it and am able to flip it much easier.

FYI: Mine weighs 619 lbs - weighed it on a shipping scale at work.
