Directionless tales of lifting ****l and human bodies

Alright I figured it was time to start a log, just to keep track for myself. Ill try to give as many details as possible on my workouts and sometimes nutrition. My goals are to get stronger, dynamite-esque explosiveness.

I have been training for about three years, I currently train kickboxing, judo, submission grappling 3-4 days a week, and lift tuesday/thursday/saturday for strength and muscular endurance. I want to get in a few kickboxing matches/grappling tournaments before starting MMA again to overcome my mental block while competing.

Stats:
Age- 20
Height- 6'
Weight- Roughly 180-185

Current P/R's-

Big 3
Deadlift: 470 Lbs (Goal met!)
Squat ATG: 330
Bench: 275 lbs (Goal met!)

Total- 1075 lbs

Other Lifts
Push press: 215 lbs
Front Squat: 285 lbs (Goal met!)
One handed barbell powerclean- 145 lbs
One handed snatch- 120 lbs (Goal met!)
Snatch- 165 lbs
Powerclean: 240 Lbs (Goal met!)

Goals-
Deadlift: 495 (New goal.) Original goal: 455 (REACHED)
Powerclean: 265 (New goal.) Original goal: 235 (REACHED)
Squat: 335
Front Squat: 300 lbs (New goal) Original goal: 275 lbs (REACHED)
One handed snatch: 135 lbs
One handed Powerclean: 155 lbs
Bench: 300 lbs (New goal.) Original Goal: 275 (REACHED)
Push press: 225 lbs

Numbers are not necessarily the most important to me, but I love getting gains. Being able to pick up people easier, hit harder, clinch tighter, and snap limbs effortlessly is my best test of improvement. Any suggestions on my log would be appreciated.

11/20/2007 First workout of the log

I am home for thanksgiving break so I do not have my usual supplements and such.

Pre-workout-
-Animal Pump (experimenting with this product, good results)
-Some trail mix I scored at my buddies house where the gym is located

Workout-

Deadlifts-

6th set- 1x405 (I dont know why I did this one, sloppy form)

Ill just turn this thread into my OT random shit thread too. Some chicks boyfriend sent me a text message last night saying he was going to "fuck my shit up if I talked to her again" along with some other nice words. Sounds like she picks the good ones, I told him he should probably think it through before coming to *fuck my shit up*

Juan, my routine right now is a little up in the air. I was on the 20 rep squat routine and it was good and well but right now Im more on a push/pull routine (this week will probably be the exception). I generally go for 5 sets of 1-5 reps. Apparently this rep scheme will help develop rip-a-man's head off strength

I ate an assload tonight, sesame chicken and cookies (not good seeing t-day is right around the corner) Then again I dont have to make weight for anything, I believe I will continue eating. By the way everyone should watch rescue dawn. Not quite as intense as I was expecting, but good none the less.

11-21-07

Did about 30-40 minutes heavy bag/shadowboxing with sprawls in my basement. I honestly get bored with just training alone. I can do cardio alone and everything but training alone is just a drag.

Postworkout- Water and several pieces of sesame chicken (probably the healthiest, most anabolic thing ever made) I can't help that they give you 3lb servings.

Hoping my friend will be home tomorrow so I can get either some squats or powercleans in before tday dinner
