Yes it is, the LSD tire-flipping and car pushing intrigue me. I've been using sprints and a 3 mile run once a week. Thanks, I'm gonna work some of this into my routine after my fight next week.

We did a "LSD tire flip" for a half hour one day(bout 300 pounds, two of us, he flips, I flip, repeat for the 30 mins no rest) and it was awesome and brutal all at once.
For the car pushing, you could work the steady-state by working long pushes (we used to do 400m uphill push that was insane), and for your sprints, 8-10 50m all-out efforts. Or some ungodly mix of the two.
With my roadwork I like to do intervals (200-600m sprint/runs), steady-state mileage, and sprinting. I kind of play it by ear, usually lay off of the sprints on sparring or heavy skill days and just run a couple miles instead. Save the sprints for "sport-specific" conditioning and lifting days, usually.

Looks really good man. Could add in some kind of sprint-conditioning finisher to your Friday, and some roadwork on tues/thurs depending on the workload, but I like it, especially the lifting split

Cool. The main reason i dont have more (any) interval type training is proximity and time. Like, if i go to the gym on Friday for strength training, thats pretty much all I will have time for that evening training-wise. One thing I COULD do on Friday's is some kind og conditioing at the gym. Maybe circuits or 1 arm d-bell snatch for time, or something like that.
I want to add in road work tuesday and thursday like you suggested, but Ill probably work it in over time as i adjust.
Let me know if you think of anything else

Honestly man, a lot of people probably mistakenly tout burpees as the end-all be-all of conditioning, but seriously, if you can't do sprint/interval work, do 10 minutes of burpees. As many as you can in 10 minutes, try to improve each time... it's TEN MINUTES! As long as you're doing your LSD work on top of it, you will be in great shape
I sent the mini clip by the way did you getit?

*flinces*
Burpees scare me. But yeah, thats a good idea. This plan goes into effect next week, so Ill see how I feel next friday on adding those in. Im sure i will at some point, but it might be a couple weeks down the road.
Ill check now...
