He said he finished the fight in 54 seconds, that don't mean he won!
j/k...
not too familiar with all of it but 54 seconds for an ammy bout with pads and all seems insanely fast.
Congrats mang.

Let me guess,
left hook to the body,
left hook to the head,
right cross.
Correct?

Fast start, lots of straight punches exchanged, then he realized the height difference wasn't suiting him and tried to bull inside. He slipped my jab and ran into a right uppercut. Closed the show with the follow-up left hook that floored him hard and the referee charged in and called it.
After the fight:

Roadwork + conditioning
4 x 800m intervals (75 seconds rest between each effort)
3 x 3 minute rounds Bas Rutten boxing tape

Wow. I certainly hope that your opponent doesn't read this log. I can think of few things more demoralising that finding out that your opponent felt the need to throw in some running and extra cardio AFTER fighting you to get in a good workout for the day.
Any chance of a video of the fight? Heck, it's short enough: any chance of a .gif of the fight?

Yeah man, I'm open class. I couldn't honestly tell you my record, because I've been through so many passbooks at this point I'd have to dig them all up and do the math. In my current passbook, though, I'm 9-4, but that's misleading. Three of those are exhibitions, and there's a lot more to my record than that. I'm probably sitting somewhere around 20-22 wins, 6 or 7 losses, 1 draw. Maybe I'll look it up someday. I'm doing okay, though.
Stoney; Rory took a video, so hopefully I'll have it up soon

Weekend mostly off.

Roughly 60-minutes of Gi judo. Drilled a variety of throws, the names of which escape me, and did some randori and newaza. I struggle with judo more than I should... I stand almost naturally in a staggered orthodox stance after so many years of boxing, and the parallel stance just seems like blasphemy. On top of this, I have a habit of not committing to throws, as the close proximity don't sit well, again after so much boxing, where I had to get comfortable with my optimal range - which was never chest-to-chest. I love it, though. It's not a regular thing, though. I just roll with a bunch of brown belts every so often for fun.

Well, this is new.
I have a solution to all problems: you simply need to take a week off and head down to Arizona, or, alternately, con Bubbles into treking up to your neck of the woods.
You box the hell out of him, he throws you around like a rag-doll, and we get to watch the highlights even if neither of you learns a damned thing.
Perfect plan.
