i've been working out on and off about 3 years now and i still consider myself an amateur. i used to be one of those "curl monkeys" and "quarter squatters" until i stumbled upon this thread. made an account and started reading the FAQs. most of the answers to my questions i found there so i didn't post much (pretty obvious from my post count

). now i only lift weights 2x a week, and usually just for an hour or 1.5hrs. i go to the gym with my wife so i lift while she's on her cardio class. my routine looks like this:
workout A (Tuesday)
Deadlift: (still trying to figure out the sets and reps)
SOHP: 5x5
Cleans: 3x5
1 or 2 assistance exercises if i still have time
workout B (Thursday or Friday)
Squat: 5x5
Bench: 5x5
BOR: 3x8
1 or 2 assistance exercises if i still have time
my goals would be just to add 20-30lbs on my PRs and hopefully lose some BF (fixing my diet too). on my off days i'll be doing some cardio workout (jump rope, bike, run, burpees). finally decided to make a log to monitor myself and hopefully to get motivated too.
