Conditioning
30 minute non-stop conditioning session consisting of: - 5x snakes up mat, sprint back
- 5x bear crawl up mat, sprint back
- 5x rolls across mat, sprint back
- sprint in place, sprawl on command
- 4x 30 pushups / 30sec. high knees
- 1000x ab reps
Jiu-Jitsu (nogi)
Keeping posture up
Low guard break
Near knee pass
Cross knee pass (focus on using head to control opponent's head)
Rolling
Wrestled with a bunch of guys and did really well against them all. Really need to work on my explosiveness, grip, flexibility, and technique. Grip felt great tonight and had no problem breaking opponent's posture and breaking their grips due to the increased gripwork outside of class. I just didn't feel very explosive at all.

3pm - 1hour deep tissues massage on back and neck. also noticed that my butt and thighs have more than a few trigger points on them.
Going to the gym tonight but not sure what lifting to do since i am trying to lay off the pressing for a while (posture correction) but my back is very tired from the massage.
Dumb stuff
Good Mornings
lots of light work, 5reps up to 5x185.. good working weight
Russian Twists (15x25, 3x10x50, 15x25)
OH Halo (2x20x45#)
Decline Russian twists (3x30)
Maybe jiu-jitsu tomorrow so only prowler sprints after work. Miguel has been putting some crazy conditioning on us lately i i'll save my upper body pull stuff for friday.

No pressing, but want to go easy on the back too.

Lots of core, and some prehab (neck, rotators etc)?

i am exhausted... but i just got dave tate's 'under the bar' so i'll probably read it for a bit, take a nap, go to the gym, eat dinner, and then go to jiu-jitsu. great rest night eh?

that could be a great rest night if you just remember to keep the intensity low.
Also, going ot jiujitsu and not sparring is horribly boring. I thought i'd just let you know.

Apparently there's a Brazilian Steakhouse near my gym. It sounds amazing but I wouldn't know what to order, so I guess I have to go with my instructor.

you don't order. you pay a crazy flat fee and then they bring meat to your table until you dont want any more.
also, got this stuff in today:
spud sled strap
spud wrist straps (last ones got stolen)
