Read Delt Fly
Sword Draws.. just accessory work to prevent shoulder injuries and strengthen the back a little before driving over to jiu-jitsu.
Notes: Felt great after the warmup of box jumps and 335 went up real easy.
Jiu-Jitsu
Focused on standing guard passing. Points to remember:
Pop up FAST and HARD
Once the guard is open back out and make space
Grab inside the knees and drop elbows.
When passing "turn the wheel"
If working a knee-cross pass, remember to underhook far arm and use my head to push their face away and control them before passing to scarf.
Rolling
Did guard pass king of the hill. Managed to stay in the middle for a while against other guys and only got out when some kid (who i have a vicious personal vendetta against, well not really.. but i'm not a huge fan of him) adamantly claimed he passed my guard when he absolutely did not. Kept working and probably got in about 10x1min. rounds either defending or working the pass.
Then rolled with a few other guys nogi and got tapped because I wasn't paying attention with a guy that I really need to focus when I'm rolling with.
