That's a sick fucking picture.

Why were they so hostile before the fight? Any idea?

they're just both intense individuals. i doubt there are any people who could punk miguel in a staredown. the same stone cold face he fights with, he spars and wrestles with.

on a side note, i drank two cups of coffee at 8pm.. its 11pm now. 6 hours of sleep before squatting = suck.

Thursday June 12th, 2008

Was out of town all week. Fitness and diet went to shambles. back at it.

Strength / Grip / GPP

Front Squat (2x10x45, 5x95, 5x135, 5x5x185)
Shrugs (10x225, 2x10x275)
Lockout holds (10/7/3sec. x 315, 35sec. x 225)
Cable Pull Through (2x10xhalf, 2x15xstack)
Cable Towel Rows (10x half, 3x20xstack)

Finisher: Prowler Sprints 4x30yd

Notes: Quads started cramping on the first set of 185, so instead of doing 5x5 at 205 or 225, i kept the weight low for my first week back lifting. The grip work felt great, especially the towel rows. Also, prowler sprints are, hands down, one of the best conditioning things I have ever done.

and just for anybody who hasn't seen it.
