Triangle from failed anaconda guard jump

open/sitting guard to arm drag>back>finisher

new twister setup from taking opponent's back

Stuff
  • 1-arm KB presses (3x15x25#)
  • Bottom-up KB Press (2x10x35#, 4x35#)
  • Bottom-up KB Press (4x35#)
  • Double KB Swing (2x10x35#)

Notes: hopefully now that the flood is over I can get back to lifting normally. Getting married in two weeks, so no wrestling for fear of black eyes or breaks. The above was to get a decent workoutin after technique
how is everyone recovering after the flood dude?

while rolling ('flowing') light, one of the better white belts managed to brush my nose with his leg and by brush, i mean barely touch it. and of course it starts bleeding all over the place. what a mess

this break from training has been quite freeing. back to squats tomorrow.


i'm not sure if 'unbreakable' is a good movie or not, but if you're a comic book dork, and enjoy red wine, it's fucking awesome.

today is the first day in about a month that i haven't been absolutely exhausted.

the pre-wedding stress seems to have passed and my body has finally recovered from overhauling my fiance's parents' house.

probably work out a few days before the wedding (this saturday), take a bit off... then tournament on november 15th.
