Thanks.

Yeah, I was thinking about how to go about getting videos. I don't think laying my phone on the floor will work. Maybe I can get my friend to go with me....

What do you consider a good warmup? Right now I do a couple light sets with whatever exercise I'm about to do (deadlifts, squats, etc.) but would a couple minutes on the stairmaster help as well?

P.S. Woot! Second page of my log!

When you start working sets you should have broken sweat....you dont need to be drenched but thoroughly warmed up...5-10 min of light cardio...prior to workout might not be a bad idea...

u can prop up your cell against something ...it will probably be better because whoever will hold the phone will probably shake their hand and the video will be more blurry...

All right. I do squats/bench/OHP tonight. I will try to take form videos if it's not too crowded.

You said you were looking for a school. I was looking in that area because I thought I might end up there and would have gone here:

I think it's probably gonna come down to either that one (since it's most convenient) or the Trident Academy one because they offer more styles (greco roman wrestling and stick fighting).

I imagine I'll start scouting in January or February. Right now I need to get in shape so I don't toss my guts on the first night.

Gym 5x5 Week 2

Bench: Pyramids to 125x5. Improved my form a little after watching the video and noticing that I was drifting toward my head. That made it easier to do this. I will stay on track with bench for the 5x5.

Squats: 150x5. These were not too hard. Messed up the form a couple times but was able to do fairly well from looking at the video I took.

Pendlay Rows: 135x5 I went up a little too much and couldn't finish the last set with good form. I will stay at 135x5 next week. Form looked good besides there being a little too much weight for me.

5 Negative pullups.

Videos to come.

Diet:

7:30 AM: Oatmeal, blueberries, milk, honey. Eggs, spinach, pepper jack.
10:00 AM: Carrots, yogurt, almonds.
12:30 PM: Tuna casserole.
3:00 PM: Chicken stir fry, apple, almond butter. This stuff was gross, is that all almond butter or did I just get a bad brand? Any ideas how to improve the taste?
6:00 PM: Chicken (about 1/2 lb) with rice (about 1/4 cup) and green beans ~1 cup.
9:30 PM: Whey protein shake with blueberries (yum) and milk. Cottage cheese with 3 olives.

Diet:

7:30 AM: Oatmeal, banana, honey, milk. Eggs, spinach, pepper jack.
10:00 AM: Yogurt, almonds, carrot sticks. I've been meaning to mash up the cauliflower I bought a couple days ago, but won't have time til Thursday night possibly. It would be better than carrots.
12:30 PM: Tuna casserole.
3:00 PM: Chicken stir fry, apple, 2 spoonfuls almond butter. I think it tasted better today, probably cause the oil was mixed in a little more than yesterday. It was still no replacement for PB though
6:00 PM: Subway meatball sub with american cheese, (no spinach), tomatoes, onions, black olives, pickles, sweet peppers, yellow mustard, and two chocolate chip cookies. I was still at work and I was getting a headache from low blood sugar otherwise I would've just gotten the sub.
10:00 PM: Cottage cheese.

Things I can't eat right now but want to so badly: Chocolate brownie sunday, chicken nachos.

I see. No comments on my form videos. You're all over on that floozy Lusst's log chatting it up with him. Well just because he puts out doesn't mean he's better than me! *runs to corner and cries*

the one comment that I do have is that your seem to waddle around a lot during your squat and readjust your footing. I wouldn't get used to this as it'll severly hamper your ability to squat if you do it with any sort of heavy weight.
