I biked through the cold and got to the club. Got changed, and went up to the "Fitness Centre." It was fairly crowded, but to my relief nobody was using the squat rack and bar. The smith machine that used to be next to it was replaced by the cable machine from Hell.
Clean and Press:

125x5-At this point, two twelve year old girls told me that I was really strong. I told them that it was the result of hard work.
135x3-Couldn't clean it anymore.

I'm having a really tough time like this. The only way I can do it without screwing up is if my feet point like 80 degrees out and when I squat I look like a '20s Disney character. Is this normal?

This seemed to agravate my right hip, which is often sore after a set of squats, but never during the exercise, until now. I also have a bruise there; I'm not sure if they're related.
I made a thickbar by wrapping the ends of the bar in towels and sliding some 45's on so they stuck. It was probably a bit less than 2" in diameter, with some compression. Is a Romanian Deadlift where you deadlift only the top portion?

There are mirrors every where so I got to check out my form, and it looked pretty sexy. Back as straight as an arrow. And I could really feel the added thickness.
My left elbow and to a lesser extent shoulder have been sore since Friday, and I'm not sure why, but I didn't want to do too much to agravate them, so I avoided some of the other lifts.

Tried some burpees. My knees kept hitting the ground
I succeeded in my S&P goal of being strong enough to impress 12 year olds.
Their older brothers were also there, using the fly machines and doing preacher curls without the collars and accidentally dropping plates to the sides. I'm gonna go play with the sledge.
