I've always been a pussy about *gaining* weight. Anytime I lose my abzorz, I feel fat.

Monday June 15th

Bodyweight 90.8kg (almost 91kg today...)

Re-doing Wave 1, because I am deloading my squat this cycle. Dunno about my deadlifts they seem fine as is. I'll just work on form with those more now.

5/3/1 - Cycle 3 - Wave 1 BENCH (82.5kg)

5*Bar
5*32.5kg
5*42.5kg
3*50kg
-----
5*52.5kg
5*62.5kg
13*70kg (got 12-13 last week, so atleast I'm not getting weaker)

Estimated 1RM: 98kg

1*90kg (wanted to see if I could bench bodyweight, I'd never done 90kg before, so this is my new 1rep PR.

0*100kg (90kg felt so god damn easy I didn't even have to grind it... so gave 100kg a try but couldn't finish it off. I may have possibly got it had I not done max reps on 70kg)

-----
3*10*45kg
2*10*47.5kg

DB ROWS

5*10*32.5kg DB's (65kg) <--- gonna do DB Rows for a bit, like how they feel.

I am lowering my PWO carbs shake from 70g to 50g now. I come home and have a shake with some protien/banana/spinache/milk anyway, so I doubt it matters that heavily. But hopefully helps with the weight loss a bit. I was reading fattys log and he went pretty hardcore down to 0-20g postworkout, which seems a bit crazy to me. But I'm sure he knew what he was doing, and he lost some fat rather quickly. I'm not sure I want to try that right now though.

Little things in your bench form if i may be so bold...

concentric phase is probably too quick for you to maintain control of bar position on a heavy single attempt.

elbows look like they flare out there, as a result of

bar moving up towards your head too quickly

i think you've definitely got the strength for 100kg matey

feel free my bench form suxxors. I still can't figure out how to do leg drive lol. I try doing it on my max rep set and all goes to shit.

So I should slow it down on the way down? I thought it dropped a bit quick. The spotter was a bit weird, I was setting up for 90kg getting my hands right and he just brings the bar out lol. 100kg he was better though...

Yeah I think that's a good idea. Not drastically slower, but still a bit slower to where you can keep control. Work on activating the lats in the concentric too. Might alleviate the other two issues as well.

My leg drive isn't quite there yet, but I learned how it works and how to apply it (sorta) mostly on singles and doubles at 85-95%.

will take it into account but I don't think I'll max test for a while, although it'd be nice to say 'I can bench 100kg' it's not a huge deal. And I'll probly maintain or lose strength in the next month of my dieting. Though I am gonna try minimalize that with my protien intake supplementation. I don't think I've been taking in enough for the amount of carbs I've taken out.
