Wait, how old are you? I'm guessing early 20s? And what do you study?

Looks like you had some good odds.... homo

The blood blister was most likely caused by the bar slipping and pulling the callus down, because the callus skin is stronger it ripped away under. Changing the way you grip the bar will fix it, it is a common problem

nah thats the first it happened. Blister dissapeared within a few hours anyway. I usually go one forward/one back grip (I dont want to say alternating, because I don't alternate between sets, yes I know, bad for imbalances)

I've been considering going for a hook grip.

And I DO NOT CHOOSE THE WOMEN WHO COME TO THE PARTY!~!!!

lol

The funny part is this is the first belt rank I've ever taken serioulsy. I feel like I actually have to live up to that standard now. So no they can take this belt when I'm a corpse or they give me a darker color.

Hard part about that is I'm still give up huge amounts of athletic ability to most people I work with. On a daily basis I'm still working out locally with an MMA team and they train 5 days a week. They just hired another Brown to come teach one day a week which is super cause it forces them to do formal classes. He's much superior to me in every way which is also great. I think I'm going to really focus on my wrestling for awhile then go from there. There I go rambling again....

Hows the cut on your hand, still closed?

you'll do fine mate, i'm sure you'll grow into it. Nobody really feels like they deserve it when they get a promotion...

stitches are out but the cut is still kinda worrying, like I'm pretty sure a small knock and it could just open up again, so I'm just gonna weightlift this week and then BJJ next week, keeping ointments and stuff on it so it heals up properly.

I haven't gone for a 1RM, but I pulled 170*5 pretty easy. I don't know when I'll test it again but I'd like to see if I can pull 200kg.

And I pulled 170*3 back in like February I think it was, I'd have to check my youtube. It was before I came back to Uni. So I'd assume it's gone up, I deloaded for a little while to work on form and speed off the floor.
