Sat Dec 27th

Went and did 200m sprints at the oval at 1pm. It was obnoxiously hot today, I only did 5-6x200m, and did 3 sets of chins between. There was a handy childrens play park with a pole nice enough to do chins on.

It is so hot outside I had to sit in the shower under cold water to cool down. Feel like I'm getting a bit of heat exhausation.

Mon 29th Dec

Got an eye infection, it's all puffy and covered with yellow gunk, like someone jizzed on it :'(

SQUAT

2*5*20kg
5*35kg
3*55kg
2*75kg

3*5*95kg

Felt easy enough. Getting back to where I was before I fucked myself up. Shame as between Knee surgery in June, I'd actually gotten a bit weaker between everything. Time for a fresh start.

Bench

2*5*20kg
5*35kg
3*50kg
2*62.5kg

3*5*72.5kg

Felt good, last rep on set 3 was a bit hard. I've sussed out where I want my arms/width on the bar, finally feel comfortable.

CHINS

I got upto 10 on set one the last couple of sessions (at bodyweight) so I think it's time to start adding weight.

5*+5kg
4*+5kg
3*+5kg

Felt happy with that, once I get 10*+5kg on the first set I will add another 2.5kg. And so on. (Unless there is a better way to do this?)

Seated Neutral grip row

6*130lbs
5*130lbs
5*130lbs

Mucked around with those, still feels odd on my arm when I row anything other than neutral grip. BOR's are out for the time being I guess.

Cable Crunches

15*60kg
14*60kg
13*60kg
12*60kg

That is all for today. Grip Training and a ride tommorow. Going to the doctors to get some anti-jizz-fucking-eye-infection-bullshit-eye-drops now.

Are you old enough to shave and what are the child labor laws over there.

(sorry couldn't resist since everyone believes your 14 on here)

How bad is the eye infection hurting your working out. I actually got the first clean bill of health in awhile the other day.

haha thanks Standard.

my physio says the elbow/MCL is 95%, but I am not so sure, it feels unstable. If I flex, my arm still shakes. I know if I wanted to I could hyperextend it, and it would pop out. Which isn't a good thing. I'm avoiding this as it happens when I go full extension on chins/pullups, more noticeably on pullups. Right now I tend to not go all the way down for a strict chin at the moment.

It can pop when I bench/OH press too, so I have to mentally not push it that far. I should really trust a physio worked with an olympic team at Athens, but it just doesnt feel right.

My grip is the one thing that hasn't suffered throughout this, so I'm thankful to that. Looking forward to March when I start training BJJ fulltime...
