GRIP TRAINING
I was planning on a whole lot of volume on the #1 and #2 today but only got about 5-6 sets of 3-4 full closes, between spotting others and deadlifts my forearms were fried. I also did a CRAPLOAD of pinching. I sucessful hub pinched 5kg (10lb) plates, which was alot harder than I thought. Couldn't budge a 10 or 20kg. Ridiculously hard. I'll make this important part of my training upon returning to Australia next year.
I may invest in some Ironmind Pinch equipment at some stage too.

LOL I don't actually know Japanese, but I do know a little Mandarin so I recognize the Kanji and I can decipher bits and pieces. I was asking if you knew Mandarin (汉语 in simiplified Chinese) or Japanese (日本語 in traditional and Kanji?). I would love to learn Japanese one day though. It is an intriguing language (and culture too).
Are you going to be training martial arts in Japan?
Cheers.

study and backpack mate. Moving to Japan next year (in october or around that time) to attend Uni for a year (assuming I get accepted, which I should!)
Will probably train again then. Depending on time.

Thursday November 12th
5/3/1 - Cycle 6 - Wave 1 BENCH (90kg)
BENCH
5*20kg
5*35kg
5*45kg
3*55kg
--------
5*57.5kg
5*67.5kg (belt)
7*77.5kg - 1RM: 94kg Estimate
Bad day. Was in library all day in city, had nothing decent to eat, 3 red bull (energy drinks), 2 protien bars, 2 iced coffees - then came home - pulled a rocky and had 4 eggs in milk, then I had to go meet friend (was at gym 10am-8pm, then went gym at 9).
Not that fussed, study had to come first, and I can't take food into this library as they are nazi's.
DB ROWS
2*10*40kg (80kg)
3*10*42.5kg (85kg) - getting hard.
Also did a bunch of hub pinching on a 5kg plate. Shit is hard. Don't know how some guys do 40kg. Nice party trick so to say, a few guys saw me doing it and wanted to try and couldn't.
Got bitched again about putting chalk on equipment. F__k, what is this a gym or a beauty salon?

strained the fuck out of my hammy, so havent done my squat session that was scheduled for yesterday. Resting/icing it up. Some stuff has come up so I may not be able to go gym after wednesday, I will go do OHP on Monday, and attempt my DL PR session on wednesday if I am feeling upto it hamstring wise. If not, I may not get to attempt 230-240kg before I leave. Alot of stuff will be keeping me busy after my final exam on Tuesday. Life is unfortunately a bit more important than my lifting right now.
Just felt like updating. might do some CoC grip work tonight if i get time between study.

So you hope to pull 530lbs but your bench is claculated at 207? i guess it's normal to pull 2.5 times what you can bench...

mate, don't ask me, my bench is fucking gay, but if I walked into the gym in the next 2 weeks I'd pretty confident I'd pull 230kg easily... 240, maybe. If i wasn't going to Japan I'd like to think 240 was achievable this year.
