I love that feeling, it happens to me quite often, because I'm tiny.
Hopefully after this deload you'll come back and be able to at least maintain your prior squat and deadlift.

i hope so too man. My squat went downhill rather quickly but im quite confident I injured something in my knee after the last few squat sessions. For a while it hurt to walk and my knee and leg would give out on me just walking down the street so I knew something was up.

Happened to me today actually, squatted 165, most people at fitness first stopped to look lol. At the pcyc that lift wouldn't really be anything special.
This massive guy was there and just had this surprised look on his face, I remember him bragging to someone about how he could squat 3 plates (140) and they were half squats.
And MIDMO.... wtf... lol that was a pretty brutal story

lol really you got an audience? pfft i'm sure people at pcyc would watch a midget squat 165, even if just for the novelty value. after my 170 squat the first time i had two people say "good lift man" and another dude asked me how long it took me to get to "that level".. which i was rather taken aback by.
i think of the regular lifters there, i've only seen dave squat more than me... even 3/4 squatters... but i've seen plenty of stronger benchers. funny that.

lol, yeh, I had some woman (late 20's?) come and ask me how long I'd been "doing this" for when I went for my last PR. I only had 130 on the bar at the time too... lol
And yeh, i've never seen any one at fitness first squat (any kind of squat) as much as me...

Don't be hating because I know how to look after my knees and thus can actually perform the squat exercise.
