I have been working at redoing my workout.
Since I will be done with boxing classes in a few weeks, I want to keep three days for boxing type of practice.
I figure to keep a two day split for the strength.
I have been spending time looking through the web for boxing instructional info.
I realize it will not take the place of trainer, but it will be a good supplement.

Boxing class.
Spent time working on slipping and the 1/2.
I need more work on the 2 since I cannot seem to make the punch start in the leg and then twist the hip, before I throw the shot.
I will just keep working on it.

I had to skip boxing class, so I did squats.
After looking at my log, it is the first time I have done these since the start of June. (not good)
I used the max weight I have, which may not have been the best option.
I did:
2x5 front squats
2x3 chins
It has been took long since I lifted.....

I have redone my workout.
I plan to keep putting effort into improving my boxing.
By the way, last night I asked my coach if I was able to spar yet and he said I am not there yet.
I need to work on cardio still.

A lot of work on body movement and footwork. Plus the 1/2.
I did a few rounds of heavy bag and jumping rope.

A few thoughts:
I need to listen to body and if it needs a break, I need to give it.
I was following my workout down to the letter and pushing myself when I was not able to go hard.
(since I only sleep about 6 hours a night, my recovery time is not where it should be)
So I need to follow my workout and if I only get half done, it is OK.
(Likewise, if I feel great, I need to push myself more)
