I am going to put my daily commenting on hiatus for a while.
Writing each day is becoming monotonous to me. (but I am still going to be working out)
I will still post once a week or so, just to check in and see how I am doing.

A note about the things I have learned from starting and daily commenting in a log:
1) My workout needed to be more focused on boxing, then strength endurance and then overall strength.
2) My workout needed more variety. I cannot be stuck on just one or two types of workouts.
3) I need to switch from upper body one day, to the lower body the next. (so my elbow will not burn out)
4) With the time/effort/money/desire I have to devote to working out, I will not be anything more than just a guy who likes to workout and is learning to box. (and I am fine with that)

The past week I took a bit of a break.
Boxing class went well. My coach said it looked like I was finally "getting it".
Also, I will finally be getting a Captain of Crush gripper.
I just cannot decided which one to buy yet..

Things have been going well.
Boxing class went well.
I was only told one time by Coach to turn my hips first when throwing the cross.
(compared to normal which is being told about 3 times a class to do so)

I rec'd my CoC last night and I am glad I bought the #1 as on my first serious try I came with a quarter inch of closing it.
I foresee lots of fun/work with this CoC. I am glad I bought one.
On the diet front, I am now going totally organic. I have joined a food co-op, which forces me to find something to go with all the fruit and veggies. (like eat it)
I have also switched to raw milk despite all my family and friends telling me I am doing no better than playing Russian roulette each time I drink a glass.
(my kids love the stuff)

Nothing much to report. I had to skip boxing because of family issues, so I will go this coming Tuesday.
I took most of this week off.
(just felt wiped out)
I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things tomorrow.

I need to switch my boxing class back to Tuesday so I will have to redo my workout.
Also I can see now why training with the CoC should only happen a few times a week. My hands feel raw....

Working out has been going well. Boxing was on Thursday this week. While I did well, I just seemed to be a little off the whole night.
The CoC training is also going well. I can feel the work out I am getting from them.
My cardio has been slacking lately so I am going to starting hitting the burpees again.
One thing I am starting to run into is that I have even less free time than normal so my workouts are having to be very short and intense.

I worked on one legged squats today. I just cannot seem to get them. (yet)
I did take a rope and throw it over my chin up bar and that was a big help.
