Back Story : I've always been overweight, despite being born at 3lbs 7 oz. But, I've always been into sports as the "athleticish fat guy". Never picked last in school for any sports, always a top player as a kid on sports teams, etc... I got into lifting my freshman year in HS. I went to the gym every day after school. I, like most other kids, focused on the bench press while ignoring everything else. This was great for my bench, but not so great for everything else. I weighed maybe 310 at the time, but I didn't really look it. I looked more 270ish. Around the middle of sophmore year, I just stopped lifting for whatever reason. This lead to getting even fatter, and lazier. Around last November, I started seeing signs of arthritis in my left knee. It ended up getting to the point where I couldn't get out of bed to go to school in the morning. I was taking around 5-6 vicodin a day, just so that I could function. After trying a few medications that did absolutely nothing, I was put on "Remicade". And it worked WONDERS. There is absolutely no pain or inflammation in my knee. So, I figured now would be the opportune time to end the fatass portion of my life. Cue Log.

340@18 hollly crap. PICS! You REALLY better get back to 3 plates, now!
Work hard and stay consistent and you'll be fatass-no-more. There's a few guys here who used to be huge and have made awesome weight loss progress with powerlifting alone. Modena for example.

Today, SUCKED. But, I think it was exactly what I needed to get pissed off at myself and motivated. I just felt like complete shit as soon as I got to the gym, and it lasted the whole time there. This could be due to me being sick the last week, new gym, no spotter/partner, etc... But, I'm chalking it up to being a weak pussy.
Next week WILL have better numbers, today was absolutely fucking ridiculous.

I never would have guessed you were 340lbs. It's good to feel like shit just don't let it have any effect on you other then motivational. Months from now you very well could be a different person..The space in between is up to you..Good luck(will be following)
