Ya I thought they were called dynamic rows but then I figured, why aren't they called power rows instead? So I just decided to put BOR's with leg drive...lol

Nice PR.

If you are weak off the floor, try pulling off a platform or 45s.

Thanks enright, I'll try that out! Why does that help off the floor though?

Thanks Diesel, and you should be worrying about getting that bench up to 225 first ;)

It changes your leverages such that it is harder to get it off the floor (it would be as if your arms are 2-6 inches shorter).

If you do these, don’t go much higher than six inches (start with 2-3 inches) and make sure you keep a neutral angle for your lower back (don’t round it).

Best of luck

good job on the deadlift and squat PRs:

I used some of the following to improve off the floor:

-Platform
-Standing on Plates/Box
-Using smaller plates to deadlift 25s or 35s

I would also work on quad strength...when you push legs through the floor...so front squats, hacks, zercher squats, leg press, etc...
