Just for the record: I don't. I found them (and the text you normally write) very informative and interesting. So if you need a proof that your educating effort works, here I am.

Stay strong.

Thanks mate, I'll try get back to writing the log sometime but at the moment it just isn't possible.

By the way, just for kicks I decided to bench for the first time in aaaages, I did a single on 80kg and I think that was about all I had :-), you're still kicking my ass in that one.

Thx for the feedback, guys.
@ Alon: You cant imagine how suprised I always am when 100kg fly up like nothing after my body went trough hell for several weeks. This I was sure its not gonna happen. But it did. I guess the day I cant bench 100kg is the day I died.

Yesterday I did some random stuff in the weightroom. Went for the pump but most of the time gassed before that happened .

At the moment Im in the corner between round 11 and 12. Round 12 is about to begin. I put on my gloves (diapers), the cutman does his work (take painkiller), take a glimps of water (paracodien) and get up one last time (4 hours drive to Münster). I cant win by points anymore. I need the knockout. Both my eyes are swollen and I can barely walk (Im fucked up). I will try to move as fast and much as possible. Wait for the opening to land one last big shot. To score the last minute knockout. To win it all. Or to get beaten up one more round. To loose. The crowd is on their feet. Now or never!

Already back.
The study is very likely not for me because:
1. There needs to be a break of at least 4-5 months between the Cicilosporin I got in April and taking part in this study.
2. All forms of therapy didnt work for me. Im in a very bad condition. Even cortison doestn work for me. This all means that Im too big of a risk for them. But they will discuss that in the headquarter in London.
3. This study offers noe longterm perspective. After the three injections one will defintenallety not get the medication until its officailly on the market in at most 5 years.

But the doc there told about another study whcih will start soon in germany and has already started all over the world. http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct/show/NCT00410410?order=6

We will see...

Did the doctor offer any thoughts on what kind of results they're seeing from others already enrolled in this new one he mentioned?

It must be mental hell tracking down study after study in hopes that you'll find one that does something for you.

Any midterm results from this study are secret. I have no idea wether it has worked with patients or not.
The problem is that I just cant give up as long as there is still a little bit of hope. But he also warned me like all the other docs that I shall not wait until Im only able crawl until I have the sugery.
The good thing about this study is that it has a so called "open label extension" which means that after study you get the verum as long as you want.

Painkiller and of to the weightroom.

- Bench worked up to 2x3x90kg [easy]
ss
- Benchpulls up to 3x3x90kg

- Strict OHP some singles and doubles with 60kg [The plate still goes up quite easy even after bench]
ss
- Pullups several triples with 15kg [speed and static holds at the top]

- Close grip BP 6x70kg/3x80kg

Took quite heavy weights today but kept it easy. Would love to do some DLs but the innerabdominal pressure is too big on these. On top of that I cant recover from the "supercompoundmovements" because of the low HB (bench and pull ups with low volume are ok but they have me sucking wind like mad and almost vomiting). I keep practicing my pistols and maybe will do some lunges and stuff in the weightroom when I find the time this week. Other than that I shoot for one high intensity upper day (85% and above) and one high volume upper day every week.

Try light weight deadlifts. 60kg deadlifts ? I am sure you can pull them no problem.

As always stay strong.

I tried 125kg just for fun - no problme. But just the bowing down feels very uncomfortable. On top I had to run to the toilette immediatelly afterwards.Becasue of the strong inflamation at the moment my colon is that "nervous" that just a little bit of pressure on it --> toilette.
