When you can do dips with more than 80kg on the belt, I'm sure you'll find a way to add the extra 20.

Holding it in your teeth, for example.

Thx, guys.

@Stoney: I guess I will just use the chain for the extra 20kg then - given this glorious day will ever come

I think about doing the 531 routine for a while. I just think that it is time for a fix routine in order to keep a steady progress.
And the 531 always attracted me due to simple approach and high intensity with low volume.
Plan to do another session tomorrow. Then I have to take some time off anyway.
Afterwards I will probably build up to some maxes and then plan out my first cycle with the 531.

- Dips 5x40kg/2x60kg/8x40kg [the two reps with the 60kg were hard but no struggle at all, might have been able to do 1 or 2 more, but my goal was 2 so I did it]

- SB 30mins @ lvl 10 hills

- L- hold rope climbs 2 sets [had played arround with my younger brothers COC#1 yesterday, like doing 20+reps each hand and then keep doing reps until you can'T close it anymore. So grip was really an issue on the second set of the rope climbs. Felt weird.]

So off to the hospital tomorrow. Surgery on friday. Next week off ( let's see if I keep to this plan). I will then start the 531 as I don't feel like going for PRs at the moment.

Back home again. Things turned out a bit more complicated than I had thought.
Short and sweet: I have a pouchitis. This means that the pouch is inflamed. This explains why I didn'T feel too well recentlly. But I still felt 1000 times better than with the UC.
Pouchitis had to be treated with an anitbiotic IV (Metronidazol) and local application of cortison (go figure what that means ).
Might have been the first and only time I got a pouchitis. It only becomes chronic in about 3-5% of the cases.
Cause? - Completelly unknown as usual.
LEt'S see what the future brings...

Might have lost some pounds due to the loss of appetite from the antbiotics and the "glorious" hospital food.
Trainingwise it is back to buisness next week.

@feature boy: Thx. I was surprised myself about how easy those reps were.

- Dipchallenge (as many dips as possible in 4 mins) 66 [Did 31 in the first set which wasn't to failure, then it just got very hard, although the number seems to be quite good I was oretty disappointed with the outcome]

- SB 30min @ 100 watt, avg heartrate was 140

- Played arround with DBsnatches. I like this movement a lot and already have a plan on how to incorporate it into my planned training.

- some pullups

I feel so small.

I used to use a chain and a carabiner to add the weight.
But at 40kg+ this just becomes too painfull on the hips.
If it ever comes to the day that I wanna do dips with more then 80kg I will just use the chain to add the extra kilos.
If I will ever be strong enough to do dips with more than 120kg I will "sail the seas and conquer foreign land" or invest in some heavy chains I can wrapp arround my upperbody.
