Hey Gready. Glad to hear things are going well apart from the fact reading this blog makes me feel so damn weak lol.

Anyway doubt you remember but ive asked a few questions in here and just wanted to hear your opinion on something. Ive responded well to Azathioprine and to be honest feel like im back to normal finally. Anyway i used Creatine in the past and had great results from it but i havent used it since being diagnosed with Colitis. Im a bit worried incase it sets me back in anyway. Just wondered if you had any experience or knowledge on using Creatine with Colitis?

As i said since ive been on the Aza ive had no symptoms at all so im a little paranoid about supps incase anything sets me back. Thanks for your time.

- OHP strict 6x60kg/1x70kg/1x75kg/1x80kg/0X87,5kg [the 80kg felt that light that I wanted to go for a bodyweight strict press right afterwards. sticking point is right at hairlevel aka weak lockout aka weak tris - same as in bench]

- Dips 6x30kg/6x35kg/6x40kg/3x50kg [all reps smooth, no grinding; +10kg PR]

- Boxsquat 5x140kg/5x145kg/5x150kg [solid]

- Frontsquat 6x60kg/3x100kg [I was spent at this point]

- grappling with Vla the tank

Will post some funny stuff from the hospital later. Still a bit hard to concentrate due to the narcosis yesterday.

@Paolo: Thx.
CHINS are such a normal movement for me that I didn't see them as an exercise before discovering sherdog.

@ threelions: Of course I remember you. Very glad you responded well to the Aza. Like I said before many people respond very good to it. I never took creatine and have never talked to people with UC taking creatine. So I can't give you personal experience on this.
But I would guess that it wouldn't cause a recurrence.
I am currentlly not taking any supps at all and make good gains. So I don't take creatine.

It is boxsquats. Gonna film those next time so I get an idea myself how deep those realy are.
Can't imagine going ATG with 150kg at the moment. My legs are still way too small and weak compared to the rest of my body.

So... surgery went fine. Surgeon could do all he needed to do in one sitting. Which means that this was the very last surgery.
Today at right before I left his office after a little talk he said:
"One more question."
"Yes?"
"Do you take steroids?"
"No."
"BEcause you could. I have two other bodybuilders who take some stuff and it goes fine with the pouch for them."
"Do they take proteinsupplements?"
"They talked about this."
"And they tolerate it?"
"Seems like it."
"Bye."
"Bye."

So when taking steroids I only have to worry about the usual sideeffects that might occur.
Don't plan on taking some until I am 60+.
But still nice to know - and the weirdest conversation ever with a doc and scientiest who makes at least a million a year you can have.

My opinion on steroids: "I don'T take them because I don't need them, because I might decide to compete in some sport where they are banned, because I don'T know where I couold get stuff that is 100% pure and becasue I don'T wanna risk any sideeffects at the moment."
Once I am 60+ I might need some steroids to build some muscle, have a safe source, the money and don't have to worry about the sideeffects as I am an old fuck.

But one thing I am pretty sure about:"They are not really dangerous if pure stuff is taken by an educated person or even better under medical supervision."

If you compete in a sport where steroids are forbidden, no matter if everyone does them too, you are a cheater and should be banned.

Show is over soon

So it has been 5 years since my first diagnosis with UC.
3 1/2 years since I started this log.
13 month since my first surgery.
1 year since me leaving the hospital after the first two surgeries and a huge battle.
3 1/2 months since I started back with weighttraining.

You guys are awesome. Your motivation in this log was awesome. The vid you made for me was nothing but great. When I saw it the first time and saw Tayon pointing at my name being written on Fatty's belt I cried and didn't stop for the rest of the vid.

Last but not least did I made by far the biggest and fastest gains in lifting in my whole life although being handicapped due to the advice you guys give here.
After years of humiliation and lowblows by the UC being good at something and accomplishing goals fast is worth a whole lot. It helped me getting back to normal way faster.
Well... a couple of pics say more than a thousand words:
