My training was really shit. Always trained with the same repscheme (that is probably the reason why I plateaued completelly at about age 17) and didn't deadlift, squat, dip, OHP or anything like that. It is now the first time in my life that I train for real as a healthy person. Well... in fact I am 50% handicapped but I see myself as healthy.
This has the advantage that my old PRs are not that hard to break. In a year from now I will know more about what kind of potential I really have.

Yeah, I've been a bit drunk.
Next time you call me grumpy I'll refer to your post.

Our family dog is very sick for a while now. There is no hope the old lady will get better. She is 16 now and is our dog ever since she was about 9 months old. The last couple of days it got really bad and she is suffering. So tomorrow she will be put down with a final injection to spare further suffering to death for her. The doc will come to our house.
I am definatelly not looking forward to this.
I love dogs. It is just so damn hard that they have such a short livespan compared to a human.

Sorry to hear it, Graedy. It holds true for any pet, really: they very easily become part of the family, and yet leave all too soon.

If going through the same thing had given me any insight, I'd share it, but all I can do is tell you that you have my sympathy. Sorry, man.

Over last week the whole familiy got sick with diharrea, vomiting and fever. One after the other. Seems like it is my turn now. Couldn't sleep all night yesterday due to sickness and sweating. HAd to work at 6am today. Now I am back home and fucking exhausted from working a hard shift on no sleep with lots of toilettebreaks. Next step on the plan for today is the doc coming to put the dog down.
Like said before: Life is a fucking rollercoaster. You better enjoy the few really, really good days to the fullest.

If I am fit enough to work tomorrow I will train afterwards. If I ly in bed all sick or vomit my heart out - Well... then I guess I won'T
