My body's ability to recover has already improved a lot.
the first couple of workouts I really felt shot afterwards and in the very beginning I even was tired as hell the following 2 days.
Made me *gulp* because I did not dare to sprint after my operation for months... but good you can do it!

My obliques are very sore from the sprinting. But all in all it felt alright.

Went to a lecture about the modern methods in visceral surgery yesterday. That was fucking interesting. The prof had all the medical devices with him. Demonstrated many of them on foam and you could even try out some of them yourself. Afterwards you could ask questions which turned to me and the prof talking. I can't wait to start studying.

As you're not about to start your studies this summer, how's about to just go to the lectures you're interested in? When you start, there's definitely a lot you don't like - so take the time and hear just those you favor. If you do, this is a good opportunity to go to some computer science lectures with me to watch the nerds ;)

All in all a good idea. Only two problems:
1. If things go as planed I will start my practical training at the hospital at the end of april and will then be occupied for 3 months
2. The train is fucking expensive for non students.

Btw. Vla is now lifting for one year. So this week the trainingdays will be used to test his 1 RMs in several lifts.

- Dynamic Lunges 5x3x35kg

- Bulgarian SS 3x10x35kg [90sec]

- 45° backraise 1x20xbw

- Legpress 2x10x120kg [pumpset aka permanent tension]

- Calfraise 3x10x120kg

Bodyweight keeps going up. I am very pleased with how the training is going under the limitations. I make solid progress both in strength and in musclemass and I get my body ready to do some real lifts again. I just hope that nothing happens to my scars and that they hold up well for the next 6 weeks and once I start over again. In order to not risk anything I shouldn't do anything. But I can't do that. My name is Tobias and I am a strengthtraining addict.
