I have no appetite, I can only sleep once I am so tired that I can'T keep my eyes open and last but worst: I don'T feel like training at all. Even if I could fully train at the moment I wouldn'T do it.
All the things from the last 3 years that were overshadowed by the fight against the UC seem to come crushing down on me. I often feel like being stomped to the ground - not able to move at all.
My psychologist says that this is normal for people expierencing close to death situations and all the other stuff that went on in the last years. He guesses that this will take another 6-12 months. But the worst comes first.
The physicall battle is on the perfect track to be won. But mentally there is still a lot of work to do.
the name of this log is "I will never surrender"

you wrote it.

think about it.

then, go lift something.

That is some bitter stuff you and your family has to deal with. I guess the only thing you can do then is stay healthy yourself. MAybe your mother having MS and your then your dad getting cancer was just too much for him - there is always only so much a person can take before he starts giving up. And diseases like MS don't let room for a lot of hope. There always comes a point when you ask yourself: "What am I fighting for?" and if you don't find one good reason - you quit. No one fights to fight - you fight because you see a chance to win. Once you have quitted there is almost no way to get back to fighting.

@ fightsong: I am already back on track like I had expected.

- dips 13xbw+10kg (attached with the neckharness)

- benchpulls 20x60kg

- lying dumbell extensions
ss
- curls

- side raise

- stationary bike 20 min @ lvl 10 hillsprogram

I am actually pretty close to closing it. TRained with my brothers #1 the last two weeks.
But I am still not sure what works best for me with griptraining. High or low frequency?
How about you? Any progress?

Glad to hear things are going well Gready. Also thanks for all the questions youve answered for me in this thread the Azathioprine(you gave me some info a while back) seems to be working great for me so far even on a low dose.

Ive been pretty lucky that steroids and now Aza seems to work well for me but its great to see that if i end up having to have surgery down the road that it can work out well. Your an inspiration mate keep up the good work.

@hunto: That's normal. Neither sex can resist my musk

@threelions: You are welcome. Always feel free to ask more quesions if you have some.

Yesterday:

- drink Vodka with Vla till 5 AM

I was drunk but the pouch doesn't seem to bothered at all.

Today:

- Couldn't resist to put my olyliftingshoes on

- dynamic lunges 5x3x30kg

- assisted one leg squats on bench 1x25 each leg

- bwsquats started out but then did a weird move in the bottom position (don'T ask me why - I don't know) which made me loose my balance which caused my lower back to cramp and gave me a sharp pain. Still hurts a bit but doesn'T seem to be serious.
Lesson learned: If your lowerback has the strength of a 4 year old you better take even bwsquats serious.

- Stationary bike 30min@120watt
