What's up bro, very nice workout routines you've been implementing there.

I've been back into it for a week and a half and I feel good.

During the day my stomach has seen a pretty good improvement for the most part, during the night for me however is a different story.

Anyways I was thinking about starting squats back up but I know they do put pressure on your stomach. I guess I'll try them light and see how it goes.

Did you have to cut out exercises cause they put too much pressure on your stomach? Either way though you make up for it for the variety of exercises you know.

Glad to see you workin hard man, lata

i was messing around at the gym at my work. benching with the 50lb dumbbels was a struggle...i'm in trouble...unless 50lb dumbbells equal about a 300lb barbell bench....yeah.

It depends. Anything requiring high innerabdominal pressure is oftentime out for me as it just hurts too much or sends me straight to the toilette. At the moment I only train upperbody as anything for the lower body requires the legs to move towards the stomach and this is just impossible even under painkillers at the moment.

Right now there is another problem coming my way. As my docs thought I look even more anemic than usual another bloodtest was done yesterday although I myself felt pretty fit and could go through my workouts at a high pace (I even thought about introducing some cardio back in the routine).
Well, the HB is 7.7 which means that we slowly but surely enter the dangerzone. If my body wasnt used to being anemic, I would lay arround with a 100+ pulse now, not being able to do anything at all.
I need this surgery soon and think about quitting training until then completelly. My body is anyway walking on the border to collapse (although I dont feel like that - but Im insane, so... ).
But dont think you have already won the bet, zero. Depending on the outcome of the surgery I wont be back to lifting at all or in the best case will be back before the year ends. So you better dont count me out.

As written before, I will have my whole colon removed. Then have a stoma (not allowed to lift anything above 5 kilos) and then hopefully a pouch http://www.j-pouch.org/illustratedpouch/

If the pouch doesnt work there will be no comeback.

Quick summary: about 2 1/2 years ago, the UC got that bad that I had to stop going to university and move back to my parents. Since then I have taken any medication available and have taken part in a medicationstudy. Nothing worked. For those 2 1/2 years I wasnt able to really leave the house as I am stoolincontinet which means I always need a toilette in reach. I also have to go to the toilette 10-20 times on average a day. I also constantlly loose lots of blood and so I am chronically anemic. I have blacked out from the pain sometimes several times a day.
So as I dont wanna live in this state forever and because I would probably get cancer within the next few years (becaseu of the chronic inflamtion Im at a very high risk) and because no medication works for me, I have to have the surgery.
The actuall massive bloodloss ups the risks fot the surgery (to give you an idea, the HB of a healthy male is between 14 and 18 - the higher the better and is the best parameter to tell you how much oxygen the blood can transport. If it goes to low the body cant supply your organs with enough oxygen and you die aka bleed to death.)

In the best case I wanna go back to uni in the next spring to study medicine. I will have to go to the toilette more often than a normal person but depending on how good my body adapts I will be able to controll when I wanna go and the frequency will be arround 6.
In the worst case my body doestn adapt well and I either stay incontinent or the stoolfrequency is too high or both. This would mean I will have to have a permanent ileostomy and will eb disabled for the rest of my life.
So spectrum of the possible outcome is very broad.
