today i did:

overhead squats:

3 @ 85lbs + 2 @ 85lbs
5 @ 85lbs
3 @ 85lbs + 5 @ 45lbs

my wrists hurt a bit on this, probably just not used to it since i took a week off.

front squats:

5 @ 115lbs
5 @ 115lbs
5 @ 115lbs

today i learned that going down all the way on squats is bad for your knees. i wish the master weightlifter who taught me how to squat had told me this !

felt some irritation in my right shoulder during one jerk and during the overhead presses, hence the discarding of weight from the bar.

cleans:

3 @ 40kg

deadlifts:

5 @ 60kg
5 @ 85kg
5 @ 85kg
5 @ 85kg

then i stretched and showered

i did powercleans because i couldn't like, not pull the bar too high to make a regular clean. i also can't front-squat as much as i can powerclean :-/. i did a few sets of cleans with a lower weight & i am gonna work up from that weight from now on.

deadlifts felt very easy despite having not done them in a few weeks. i am glad, i think i could have done 100kg but i am still taking it easy on my back. maybe next time.

i went to the gym today but it was shit.. i got to try out my camera at least.
