5/3/1 Cycle 2
Sunday Nov 8
I decided to deadlift today to rest my tricep
Worked out at he local YMCA. Love that gym. Its small, smelly, has old ass weights and 1 power cage with barbells that dont spin. But you never cold, and it just feels good.
Deadlifts:
175*5
195*5
215*10 Good form, kept everything tight. It was hard though. I decided to up the percentage. I did three and felt so good, I decided to do 7 more.

225*1 I was fried
Deads felt amazing today, everything was smooth and oiled.
Squat Form Work:
135*3*3
Hypers on 45 degree ramp thingy:
60*10*5
These are alot easier than a roman chair!
Plate Pinch:
Take three dimes. Hold in each hand for as long as possible. My left hand is weaker, so I would hold that hand to failure three times for every 1 right hand.
Do this another three times
So far, Im really liking 5/3/1. I get much better recovery.
Oh, and I fixed the SI joint problem. Popped it back in correctly. All is well.
Its kinda funny and pathetic that me, a skinny highschool kid squats and deadlifts more than anyone else at the Y. I saw this huge guy, doing crazy ab shit (that thing rocky does in rocky 4) and then half squat squat 100 lbs. It was hilarious. Even more funny, he went to to do three plates on a sitting calf raise while grunting.
