I am fat and weak.

Ok today I signed up with the personal trainer at mens health since I have come to realize I have no idea what I'm doing. I started on my own about a month ago at 6' 225lbs. I got down to 202 but I feel weak and I've been gassing waaay to soon at training ( today bigtime but i blame hydroxycut hardcore). If anyone gives a shit I'll be posting progress weekly however I'm not dumb enough to put my picture on sherdog .Props to Frettish for giving me the idea to keep a log.

Keeping a log is a great way to not cheat or skip. Definately read the stickies on S&P, there's tons of great ideas.

Also, can you post what your goals are? Are you wanting to be thin? Are you wanting to be a no-neck monster? Or something in between? All are good answers, just a matter of what it is that you are after. By your title I guess you thought you were fat (and weak) and need to cut. How much do you see needing to cut?

I'm looking to get around 185 with about 10 - 12% body fat. My body fat right now is about 22%. The reason I've been so weak is my calorie intake was probably around 1200 and I just can't maintain training like that.I've been losing too much muscle, hopefully that will change now.

I have a big frame (thick thighs and wide back)but apparently relatively little muscle mass for my size. I don't look fat but it's because my frame hides it. At 10% body fat I would be a pretty big guy for 185.
