Drilled Guard Passes

Drilled some sweeps from opponent standing to pass guard

BJJ Free Roll: 1 hour

Rolled a bunch. Was a lot more relaxed today than for the past week. That's good.

I thought about the priceless comment, but I didn't list prices for the other stuff. I probably should have gone with it anyways.

Warmup

ATG Squat

Box Squat (Just below parallel)

335x1x5

Finally figured out how to box squat right. Relaxing the hip flexors took me about half way through the first set at 275. Almost failed the last set at 335. Once I get good out of the hole, I am feeling 505 easily by the end of this competition.

ATG Squat

That's all I had left. Those box squats took a lot out of me.

June 11th

BJJ 1 hour

I don't remember what we did, honestly.

BJJ Free Roll 1 hour

June 12th

Muay Thai Advanced Class 1 hour

Timed for an hour.

June 13th

Some bench and deadlifts and snatches. I have the deadlift and snatch numbers in the death squad log.

June 16th

BJJ 1 hour

Learned a couple sweeps.

BJJ free roll 30 minutes

I had to leave early to do homework.

June 17th

Squats and snatches and C&Js. The numbers are also in the death squad log.

Sorry I'm not so specific on these numbers, but I have to get back to doing my homework.

Wednesday June 18

BJJ 1 hour

Basic guard passes and armbars

A couple of sweeps from open guard

BJJ Free Roll 30 minutes

only stayed a short time because of a test I had to study for

June 19th

Muay Thai 1 hour

Worked basic combos

Conditioning work

...later on

slayin' some hood rats

and I'm still awake

Jump Rope
Shadow Box
Wall Sprawl (throw medicine ball against the wall, sprawl, catch)
Bounce medicine ball against wall
pushups
power kicks against suitcase pad
thai combo drills
full contact hard sparring
clinch control drill
50-50-50 (50 pushups, 50 sit ups, 50 sprawls)


And then tonight.


BJJ: 1 hour

Learned some stuff from spider guard

BJJ Free Roll: 1 hour

Rolled a lot. I was tired.
