It feels a lot better. And if you noticed, I failed the rep. So I technically took it easy by only performing the negative portion of it.

BJJ: 1 hour

more like 20 minutes worth of stuff I could actually do, today

I wish I could remember what we did, but half the time I was worried about hurting myself after one dude went knee up on my rib

BJJ Free Roll: 1 hour

I sat out all but two rounds.

One round I just helped a guy with his standing guard pass. Another round was a guy being nice and letting me work stuff on him that I could with my rib.

Brad Peplow under Jack McVicker under Megaton.

Peplow just got his Black Belt from Megaton this past weekend too. Pretty awesome.

Cool, how long you been training? Do you train only Gi or No-gi as well?

I started in the beginning of January this year, so 5 months coming up, but I've been out for the past couple weeks because of my cracked rib. We really only train Gi. A few of the guys roll NoGi as well, but we really don't learn that in the class.

Cool. I think it's way better to learn with a Gi on than vice verca. It was extremelly confusing transitioning from No gi to Gi but the other way around is a little bit easier IMO

A buddy of mine at my gym said the exact same thing. He started off No-gi somewhere, and had a ton of trouble translating to Gi.

DL TYPE STUFF

Warmup

Rack Pulls (Just above knees)
225x5
315x5
405x5
455x1
495x1
545x1
565x1
585x1
605x1

Felt great. Even the last one was super fast. I started losing my arch in my lower back in the last couple sets though. Otherwise, smooth as hell.

BORs
225x5x3

Felt dead during this.

Tried pullups and chinups, nope. They are still hurting my rib.

Jump Rope x 5 minutes

Neck Bridge x 45 seconds

Static Stretching

Those are some strong rack pulls. I am surprised that doesn't hurt your rib.
Good job!
