I moved the weight up and down, but my ass came off the bench during it.

Still - you are pretty close. My form tends to break down as the weight gets really heavy. It looks like you did a good job with staying tight and trying to move the bar fast. You will get a clean 315 pretty quickly.

Nice form on the Box Squat. You could do quite a bit more. Your univ. needs a better box.

I'm hoping to get that 315 bench clean in the near future.

Also with the box squats, I didn't want to go super heavy, but still have something challenging enough to base a decent critique on. And yeah, my university could use quite a few more things.

Here is a good vid on box squats from Squat RX (all the videos are good):

There are different ways to do a box squat. What you’re doing is fine for working on depth, but most people who box squat will pause on the box. The Westside guys will pause on the box and then relax the hip flexors.

When you pause on the box, make sure to stay very tight in your back, legs, core and glutes, etc.

Also, after looking at your video again, you might want to focus on starting your squat by sitting back a bit more.
