Sorry guys. I said NO excuses so what I am saying is just an explaination and doesn't excuse my not working out.

I got sick at the end of last week. This week I have had two twelve hour days in the field. I let the diet fall apart a bit last weekend when I was sick. I had some pizza, wine, and a piece of cake.

I have the diet back in order.

The fieldwork has been an incredible workout this week and last. I have a six mile proposed pipeline in the bayou next week as well.

To put it in perspective I drank 14 bottles of water yesterday and peed once! I had to wear flame retardant clothing yesterday and it is like a sauna suit. It is in the low to mid nineties where I've been working and I walked in and out with gear on a two mile pipeline in grand bayou.

I have no lifting routine. I realize my new log is a fucking "dear diary" so far. Flame on.

You better start losing some weight and probably adjust your goal. Losing 50lbs in 3 months might not be that realistic...Babysteps

I agree with Liquid, make a more realistic goal and you won't have to have any excuses.

Well it is now 40 pounds in three months although I haven't weighed in almost a week. 13.3 lbs a month or a little more than 3 pounds a week seems resonable for a fat ass to be losing.

Of course there is Thanskgiving in between, but that is my goal and if I fail it is because I didn't work hard enough not because the goal was unreasonable.

Sorry takemayonnaise, no lifting tonight.

I realized that the only reason that I don't own a heavy bag is because I have always rented from dickheads that would bitch and moan if i hung one up. I took my ass to the redneck superstore and purchased a 100 pound heavy bag.

I warmed up with several lift and carries from the ground.

I hung it and did a couple of rounds of shadow boxing

Light punching on the bag to get a feel for it.

Worked outside and inside combos

Then mixed combos

Then sets of 25 of 1s-4s focus on speed and quick return.

Finished with two punchouts

The last set I didn't box at all, it was a sloppy slugfest until my lungs, arms, and shoulders burned like mad.

Soon I will start the Bas workouts on the bag.

Yes I suck. I used a bowsaw to cut a bunch of firewood Friday. I did some heavybag work Saturday and jack shit yesterday (I went fishing).

The weight was 323 on Friday (9/26). 17 down and 38 to go with 89 days from the last weigh-in until christmas. The rate is now down to slightly less than three pounds a week to make goal.

5x5 tonight. I think I will lower the weight so that I can make a whole session.
